I had a bit of a subtitles revelation today. I always used YT. It transcribed and then I would adjust but the subs editor sucked balls. Today I discovered that I can
- upload video to YT
- download transcription (just plain text)
- fix transcription and put a blank line between every individual sub (you can still have multi-line subs)

re-upload to YT and it will do the timing perfectly (unless you want things
like
[laughter]) - download the .srt file and burn that into the video to upload to insta etc
Subtitling a clip perfectly is now 3 minutes.
